What
is Electronic Art? It
incorporates Visual Arts and Computer Arts. It is also called, New
Media Art, and it used to be called, MultiMedia Art.
My notion of
Electronic Art incorporates Experimental Media or Experimental Art.
See John
Cage.
At
my Art School Pauline
Oliveros is the Celebrated Artist. A huge revival of Experimental
Media is on the rise. They just built a 150 million dollar building
at my University to promote Experimental Media.
I collaborated
with Pauline Oliveros at Rensselaer in 2006,
click here to watch that documentation of that video.
The
piece was a performance for the opening of the Canadian Electronic
Arts Conference called AB-Time
